๐Ÿ…Hereโ€™s your tomato bodyguard line-up โคต๏ธ ๐ŸŒฑDill br ๐Ÿ…Hereโ€™s your tomato bodyguard line-up โคต๏ธ

๐ŸŒฑDill brings in the good bugs (ladybugs and parasitic wasps that eat hornworms and aphids) while its deep taproot pulls up nutrients your tomatoes canโ€™t reach on their own โ€” making them the kind of garden buddies that actually pull their weight.

๐ŸŒฑFrench Marigolds confuse aphids and whiteflies with their scent while their roots release a compound that knocks back nematodes in the soil โ€” which means theyโ€™re working pest control both above and below ground for your tomatoes.

๐ŸŒฑBasil repels thrips, aphids, and hornworms with its strong oils while improving your tomatoesโ€™ flavor and growth when planted close by โ€” and as a bonus, you get fresh basil for all your summer cooking.

My goal for my tomatoes is to alternate an herb and a flower for best pest support around them. I let most of my basil go to flower so it does double duty. We want to attract the beneficials in with the flowers and repel the bad pests with the herbs (scent).

If you want a garden that protects itself โ€” without chemicals or constant guessing โ€” comment SYSTEM and Iโ€™ll DM you the link.๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š

Meet one of your garden friends! This is a lacewi Meet one of your garden friends!

This is a lacewing.

Lacewings are one of those garden friends you *want* hanging around โ€” especially if aphids, whiteflies, thrips, spider mites, or tiny soft-bodied pests are trying to move in.

And the real MVP?

The babies. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Lacewing larvae are basically tiny garden alligators. They donโ€™t look cute and friendlyโ€ฆ but they are out there doing the dirty work for you.

They feed on the pests that weaken your plants, spread fast, and make you feel like your whole garden is falling apart overnight.

So if you want more lacewings in your garden, stop making your garden a pest-only buffet and start giving the good bugs a reason to stay.

Plant things like:

โžก๏ธ Alyssum
โžก๏ธ Dill
โžก๏ธ Cilantro
โžก๏ธ Yarrow
โžก๏ธ Cosmos
โžก๏ธ Calendula
โžก๏ธ Fennel
โžก๏ธ Queen Anneโ€™s lace

These tiny flowers and herbs help feed the adult lacewings, which keeps the next generation of pest-eating babies close by.

Thatโ€™s the whole point of a prevention-first garden.

Not โ€œwait until everything is covered in bugs and then panic.โ€
